Express InterCity Premium (EIP)
The fast and modern Express InterCity Premium trains, which started operation on 14 December 2014, are a new category of comfort and quality on Polish rail tracks. In this way, they begin a new chapter in the modernisation of the Polish transport sector, and create a better travel standard in Poland – tailored to the needs and financial abilities of various groups of passengers.
These services are operated by Pendolino trains, reaching speeds up to 200 km/h on Polish tracks. They connect the large metropolitan areas of Warsaw, Gdánsk, Wrocław, Katowice and Krakow. You can expect all the facilities of a modern high-speed train, including reclining seats, plenty of legroom, WiFi access and an onboard bistro.
These premium trains are the fastest on the Polish network, so seat reservations and a supplement are mandatory. Read more about that on this page.
