Superfast Ferries routes

You can use Superfast Ferries to travel between the following destinations:

  • Ancona to Corfu*, Igoumenitsa, or Patras

  • Bari to Corfu*, Igoumenitsa, or Patras

  • Venice to Corfu*, Igoumenitsa, or Patras

*Via Corfu on specific dates during summer season only

 

Please note: The route Patras-Corfu is considered a domestic route and can't be travelled with Superfast ferries.

 

Conditions

Free passage with an Interrail 6 day Greek Island Pass

 

Holders of an Interrail 6 day Greek Islands Pass are entitled to two free crossings between Italy and Greece. 1st class Pass holders are entitled to travel in a 4-bed shared cabin. 2nd class Pass holders are entitled to travel in aircraft type seats or dormitories (when available*).

 

Additionally, Greek Islands Pass holders are entitled to a 30% discount on any economy class trips that are in addition to their free trips. 

 

No surcharges, EU ETS charge, taxes and high/shoulder season supplements apply when travelling with the 6 day Greek Island Pass.

Free passage with an Interrail Global Pass

 

Holders of an Interrail Global Pass don't have to pay the passenger fare and need to add a travel day when travelling with Superfast Ferries. Surcharges, EU ETS charge, taxes and high/shoulder season supplements apply.

 

1st class Pass holders are entitled to travel in dormitories (when available*) or aircraft type seats. 

 

2nd class Pass holders are entitled to deck seating. 

Discounted passage with an Interrail Greece or Italy Pass

 

Holders of an Interrail Greece Pass or Italy Pass get 30% discount on the passenger fare. Surcharges, EU ETS charge, taxes and high/shoulder season supplements apply.

 

1st class Pass holders are entitled to travel in dormitories (when available*) or aircraft type seats.

 

2nd class Pass holders are entitled to deck seating.

* Dormitories are only available on board Asterion II that operates on the routes:

Interrail Pass holders can get a 30% discount (surcharges and taxes apply) on the passenger fare on Greek Domestic Routes (ferries between the Greek Islands) operated by Blue Star Ferries, Hellenic Seaways and Anek Lines, provided that you have already made a crossing between Italy and Greece with Superfast Ferries.

On board facilities

Vessels are equipped with facilities and entertainment options such as: A la Carte and self-service restaurants*, bars, swimming pool*, casino*, internet corner and disco*. All cabin categories (2, 3 or 4 beds inside/outside) have ergonomic design and spacious interior including shower and W.C. Aircraft-Type seats can be readily turned into comfy reclining surfaces. Male and female couchette cabins contain up to 6 comfortable berths and offer a more affordable travelling option. Particular attention is paid to the cabins designed for travelers with special needs.

Reservations are compulsory. You have the following options to make a ferry reservation:

  • At the port where you depart on the day of travel and pending availability

  • Book online through www.superfast.com or www.anek.gr (you can find a step-by-step description on how to book your ferry reservations here)

Overnight ferries

Travel days and ferries

When travelling by night ferry (Superfast, Minoan or Blue Star Ferries), you have to use a travel day and fill in the day of departure in your travel calendar. If you are still on this ferry after midnight, you don't have to use a second travel day, unless you board a second ferry.

 

If you're travelling on a discounted ferry, you don't have to use a travel day.

 

Please note that you cannot start your travel before the first day of validity on your Pass.

 

Greek Islands Pass

International ferries between Italy and Greece

Superfast Ferries operates international services between Italy and Greece. With the Interrail 6 day Greek Islands Pass, you get:

  • Two international crossings between Italy and Greece. The offered routes are:
    • Ancona to Corfu*, Igoumenitsa, or Patras
    • Bari to Corfu*, Igoumenitsa, or Patras
    • Venice to Corfu*, Igoumenitsa, or Patras
  • A free retour transfer by bus and train from Patras to Piraeus port (near Athens).

  • Four domestic travel days in economy class to the Greek islands of your choice. The starting point is Piraeus port, Volos port, Thessaloniki port and Kavala port.

  • 55 destinations to choose from, including Crete*, Rhodes and Santorini.

  • 30% discount on the passenger fare on any additional domestic trip (to an island).
