How long is my Interrail Pass valid?
That depends on your Pass. If you have already purchased your paper Pass, your end date is written on the top of your Pass. That is the last day your Pass is valid – you can use it up until midnight. For a mobile Pass, the validity of the Pass can be found in the 'My Pass' tab under the 'Validity Period' section in the Rail Planner app.
Haven’t got your Pass yet? You can easily work out how long your Pass will be valid for depending on which Pass you’re looking at:
For Passes valid for a number of travel days within 1 or 2 months, your Pass is valid for either 1 or 2 months after your start date. You can use your travel days any time within that 1 or 2 month period.
So if your start date is 10 January and you have a 7 days in 1 month Pass, your Pass is valid for 1 month from 10 January – so up to and including 9 February. It will expire on 10 February.
For Passes valid for 1, 2 or 3 months continuously, your Pass is valid for 1, 2 or 3 months after your start date. You can use your Pass to travel every day within that period.
So if your start date is 4 July and you have a 3 months Pass, your Pass is valid for 3 months from 4 July – so up to and including 3 October. It will expire on 4 October.
For Passes valid for 15 or 22 days, your Pass is valid for the stated number of days from your start date. You can use your Pass to travel every day within that period.
So if your start date is 1 November and you have a 15-day Pass, your Pass is valid from 1 November up to and including 15 November. It will expire on 16 November.
Change of currency
You cannot change the currency once you have a Pass in your cart. Remove the Pass, and then change the currency on the website header.
